If you like it chunky you can blend for 2-3 minutes, if you like it more smooth like me, blend for 3-5 minutes. Then serve and enjoy!
Why make homemade hummus?
Store bought hummus has a lot of oil and sodium. When you make your own, you know exactly what’s in it, there’s no preservatives and you can regulate the amount of salt and oil you put. It’s also A LOT cheaper.
It takes 15 minutes to make, its more than 1/2 the price of what you pay for a container of hummus at the store.
How to enjoy the hummus
As a dip with vegetables like carrot and cucumbers
As a spread in your wraps
In a sandwich
